David Horvitz publiceert foto’s op wikipedia. Op die foto’s is een man te zien, David Horvitz, soms groot in beeld, soms klein, staand op een strand, starend naar zee. Public Access heet dit werk. De stranden zijn publiek, de foto’s ook.
Ik snap niet hoe je over iets anders zou willen schrijven dan wat op internet gebeurt. Ik weet nog dat Virginia Woolf in haar dagboek stopte met het schrijven over verkeerslichten, toen net nieuw. Uit het lemma ‘David Horvitz’ op wikipedia:

Wikipedianen zijn mensen die moeite hebben met gelaagdheid. Het toegevoegde moet onmiddellijk weg zoals sneeuw bij de voordeur op de ochtend dat die is gevallen.
