What is required, beyond memory, is a perspective on one\u2019s own past that is both a child\u2019s and an adult\u2019s, constituting an entirely new perspective. So the writer of autobiographical fiction is a time traveler in his or her life and the writing is often, as Virginia Woolf noted, 'fertile' and 'fluent'---><\/em> <small>\u2013 JCO<\/small><\/p>\n<p>Oh, ik wil niet dat, zoals ze zegt, mensen in mijn leven personages worden.
