Daar zijn andere dingen echt. Een vrouw naast me stoort zich aan een vrouw die foto&#8217;s neemt. Het beeldschermpje geeft blauw licht. Het blauwe licht kan nergens heen behalve naar de vrouw achter haar \u2013 het veroorzaakt een rood waas. De vrouw naast me zou, tegenover Marina Abramovic aan tafel in New York, geen enkele keer met haar ogen knipperen: fotocamera moet uit. <\/p>\n<p>&#8216;To be a performance artist, you have to hate theatre. Theatre is fake: there is a black box, you pay for a ticket, and you sit in the dark and see somebody playing somebody else\u2019s life. The knife is not real, the blood is not real, and the emotions are not real. Performance is just the opposite: the knife is real, the blood is real, and the emotions are real. It\u2019s a very different concept. It\u2019s about true reality.&#8217; <\/p>\n<p>We betaalden 70 euro voor een kaartje, de prijs van 50 echte broden.
